Australian Alienware Saga comes to an End!

Like all saga's, this one has come to an end, here is the history:- (go trackback functionality!)

• Ordered Alienware (August 9th)
• Alienware Update  (September 6th)
• Alienware Australia Update (September 7th)

Well, I'm glad to say that it arrived this week and it's fantastic! I was quite pleased with the build quality and speed.

I've had no problems at all so far, except for the brain teaser on how to open the front door (push firmly). Here is a quick recap:-

• Dual 7800 GTXs,
• 64Bit AMD 4800+ Dual Core Processor,
• 2GB Corsair Ram,
• Dual 10k RPM Raptors in Raid 1

It is a beast in Visual Studio, Battlefield II and World of Warcraft. I picked up the 3 years warranty, but hopefully nothing will go run and I can play some really good games write some really good code. 

I definately recommend the Alienware Desktops, it just will take quite a while to get delivered (here in Australia). If you would like to see some photo(s) of my office setup, I'll put some up.
